So, the boyfriend and I were window shopping at a pawn shop after work on the way home and the sales person pulled out a 1 carat, H(not sure, but it was a pretty high color), VVS2 solitaire that she mentioned was from Tiffany. It was listed for less than $3500. We had gone into Tiffanys before and I seem to recall the solitaires we looked at being more than twice that. I was kinda skeptical that it was really a T&Co ring just because the price seems so low, even for a previously owned ring. I looked at the inside of the ring and it had a blurry engraving that looked like "TCo" or something like that. Does it seem like a legit ring? We''re not really shopping for rings, but it just seemed like a good deal.

It may be a real Tiffany.
It may not.

If I was interested the next step, before considering buying it, would be taking it into Tiffany to ask them to authenticate it or take it to an appraiser.
If the seller won't let you do that (or put a full refund within X days in writing) I'd forget it.

Used jewelery often go for half of the retail so I am not too surprised (designer purses may even retain value better). As recommended, you need to get the ring to an appraiser or Tiffany to get authenticated. There are a lot of replicas out there.
