When you see dimensions on a report, for example, ''6.85-6.78-4.21.'' I believe the first two numbers mean maximum width and minimum width. Is that correct?
If that is correct, why is there a MAXIMUM and a MINIMUM width? Shouldn''t there be ONE width?
So confused...

Diamonds do not like being ground round - they are squarish crystals, and it is all but impossible to make them perfectly round - unless they are burned round with a laser.
