question about diamond quality

Hi Everyone,

I have a quick question for a friend on a diamond she is considering buying. I don''t know anything about the dealer but she says he is reputable. She''s paying top dollar but that always worries me. She seems determined. The stats are as follows:

Carat weight 2.10
Color grade H
Clarity VS 2
Total depth percentage 59.8%
Table size percentage 59%
Crown height percentage 13.9%
Crown angle 33.7
Star length percentage 55%
Pavilion depth percentage 42.8%
Pavilion angle 40.8
Girdle thickness thin to medium
Girdle finish faceted
Cutlet none

If any of you have an opinion or thoughts on this stone, please let me know.

how much? which lab graded the stone?

For price comparison here is a 2.20 H VS2 with AGS report fro $22,901.

I'm not saying they are identical so look at all the parameters closely.
ANd any other lab besides AGS or GIA should mean a much lower price since they grade more "generously".
It's just to give an idea on price.

Thanks you guys. I appreciate the insight. It has been so long since I really thought about diamonds, I have to admit I didn''t even ask her who graded it. Duh! Could be the jeweler! LOL But assuming it is AGS or another reputable company, then it sounds like the diamond is good. On the price, I have no doubt she can do better. But like I said, she seems committed to the diamond. Maybe it "speaks" to her. Thanks again!! I will pass on your thoughts.

It is a 60/60 type stone which will have a differnt appearance than a more typical ideal cut, but since she is picking with her eyes it obviously appeals to her.
