I have a 1.51 Emerald Cut Diamond I am planning to set in a Cathedral type setting. I recently went to a setting show here in FL and found a very nice setting. The setting was the typical cathedral but it had 4 round diamonds channel set in the band which looked fine. I mentioned to the jeweler/designer that tapering baguettes in a channel setting would look very nice in a cathedral setting. We are trying to build this vision as we speak because I truly wanted to give my lady a unique engagement ring. My question is, has anyone ever seen a cathedral ring with channel set baguettes and where could I find one to see how it might look? Thanks!
