Question about asscher for stud earrings

I’m considering getting a pair of asscher cut diamond stud earrings in simple basket setting with 4 prongs (or can go up to double prongs per corner). I already have a pair of 3 ctw round stud earrings that are about 7.3 mm each. If I‘m to get a pair of asschers that is about 1.5 ct each, it would be about 6.4 x 6.4 mm according to the chart. Would I be able to notice a difference of 0.9 mm? I don’t need them to be huge but I don’t want them to feel small IYKWIM. It’s hard for me to visualize this being round vs square. If anyone has an asscher and could chime in, I’d greatly appreciate it.

This is for a ring not earrings but it gives you a size comparison. 48647921-FC6B-44ED-BB2F-3B3445C00D6F.jpeg

Thank you so much @josieKat. I was at Winners store (similar to TJ Maxx) and found a pair of Rachel Zoe 6 mm asscher CZ stud earrings so I bought them to try on (how timely was that?). I did compare them to my 7.3 mm round and could see a difference. When worn, the 6mm asscher CZ don’t look too bad—more like an everyday wear but I have long hair and always wear it down so the asscher get kind of hidden. I think I may need to get a size in between the two like 6.5mm.
