Quest in VA visit!

The BF and I went to visit Quest yesterday! I had set up an appointment with Pete based on all of the glowing recs I read here. It was a lovely experience!! I had been doing my due diligence and I requested in advance to see some stones. We''ve been shopping for a while so we knew what we were looking for in terms of cut and specs. Most importantly we wanted to discuss some custom work for the setting. They were busy as expected on a Saturday but they have a lovely store. Pete showed us one specific diamond that he and I had discussed earlier in the week. OMG it was gorgeous. I never thought I''d see hearts and arrows in person and it was quite an experience seeing them. We were both floored at how beautiful this diamond was. Anyway, I ended up spending some time in the car as they talked numbers so I don''t know exactly what went on but I''m hoping that a deposit of some sort was put down!!!

I won''t post exact numbers as of yet since it was a diamond from the virtual inventory and I want to wait and see if it "disappears" LOL

I asked the BF later if he was going to tell me anything and he said "NO", hahahahaha but I did manage to get out of him that he had a good experience and that he thought Pete was a straight forward kind of guy. The BF is VERY particular and luckily has a really good eye when looking at diamonds so I know he was pleased with the whole experience. We''ve been to other places that haven''t left him with the warm and fuzzies.

So I''m out of the whole process now, it''s just a waiting game. I too enjoyed the visit to Quest and wanted to pass the word along.
