Qs.. for PSers with kids. At what age did you became a parent?

Are you a grandparent yet? if yes at what age?
 
I was 24 when my first son was born (spent my 25th birthday in the hospital so almost 25) and I am currently 58 and will be a first time grandma in October :love:
 
I had my first at 28, my last two at 31 ( and one in between). No grandkids yet, but my 16yp is bound and determined :oops:
 
I was 42 years old when we adopted our first and 46 years for our second child. Luckily we are pretty fit and healthy and keep up with our kiddies.

If we’re lucky enough to be grandparents, I’ll probably be ancient :lol:.
I’m too scared to do the maths.
 
At 25 and 28. My daughters will be 32 and 29 this year, and no grandkids anywhere in sight. Times are different, there have been challenges. I hope I can have 1 grandkid from each, but who knows. It may not even happen. There are extenuating circumstances for my oldest daughter.

Our two daughters are exactly 17 months apart to the date. In fact DD #2 just turn 31 today. :eek-2:
 
28 and 35, my two sons are 12 and 4 so I have a while for grandkids....I hope!
 
I wanted to have children before age 25! What was I thinking then?! :oops2:
I was 24 and 26. No grandkids yet but DS is marrying this year so I’m sure it’s just a matter of time. DD is a career gal.
 
32, 35, 37. Glad I waited until I was older but I wish I had the energy of a young mother, lol! I also fear I will be in a rest home by the time I have grandkids! :lol:
 
I conceived my little girl at 20 and gave birth to her at 21. She will be about 7 when we have our 2nd baby. Im so excited to see her as a big sister and I know shell be the best little helper. I also feel blessed that I was given her at that age because shes gotten and will get 7+ years of just mommy and daddy and her! So she has lots of love around her! We plan on having 2-4 more kiddos before I hit 35.
 
I was 25 when my kids were born and so glad I did it then. No grandkids yet.
 
24, 26, 31, 33. No grandkids, still raising the kids. Although, with the age gap, we might have grandkids before the youngest two are out of the house.
 
My wife's biological clock (grandma) began to tick when she turned 55. She got her wish at age 57.
 
I had my first son at 21 and he is going to be 21 in July.

My second son was born when I was 23 and he is now 19.

My third son was born when I was 26 and he is now almost 16.

My daughter was born when I was 28 and she is 14.

No grandbabies yet! =)2

I had my first kitty at 26 and then 2 more at 27:P2.
No grand kitties yet. That might prove challenging since they are all neutered.;(

I had DD#1 when I was 5 days shy of my 30th birthday. DD#2 came when I was 31.5 (20 months apart). They're 12 and 13 now. I hope there won't be grandkids ANY TIME SOON. I should be safe with my oldest, she seems to be following the LGBTQ+ path (like her mom and grandma)
 
I was 24 when I had DS, he’ll be 36 this year :eek2: He got engaged on NYE and they’re talking about 2021 to get married.

I can honestly say I have no great burning desire to be a grandparent. I don’t presume they want or can have children, if they do, great, if they don’t, also great, their lives, their decision.
 
I was 29 when I had my first and 31 with my second and final. They are both in the midst of their teen years, so I don't think I'll be a grandma anytime soon.
 
I was 36 and 38 and DH even older. I expect I will be well into my 60’s or 70’s before any grandchildren appear, I’d regard it as a great privilege to be able to meet them, though!
 
I'm probably an outlier....
My first was born when I was 30....my youngest was born when I was.......53!!!
 
My first son was born the day after my 33rd birthday (he’s almost 18) and my second son at 35 (he’s 15). =)2 Time sure flies when you have kids....
 
I was 44 years old when I became a mother to my twins who will turn 5 next week, and I'll be 50 this summer :eek2:! Not sure I'll live long enough to see any grandchildren :(2.
 
I was 31 when I had my son. I would've liked 2 but it didn't happen with my new partner because life got in the way and now he says it is too late.

My Mum was 55 - she kept telling me she was too young to be a grandma and didn't want to be a grandmother until she was over 60. But she dotes on him. :love:

Daughter: 31
Twins (boy/girl): 33
Baby daughter: 35 "advanced maternal age" :rolleyes:

They are all 8 and under, so NO grandkids for a long time. I cannot wait to be a granny one day though! :kiss2:

I remember my obgyn recommending an amnio for AMA. I had to ask what AMA was! I was like damnnnn when he told me! :(

Edited to make correction: First son is almost 18 not 1 lol....:lol:
 
1st son born 9 days before my 20 bday-
He’s 37 now, and has 3 girls 14, 6 and 4
2nd son born when i was 21 (19 months difference in age)
He’s 36 now, and has 1 daughter 14 and 1 son 9
3rd child, my daughter was born when i was 38 (17 years after my 2nd son). She’s 19 and in college.
So....3 kids, 1981, 1983, 1999
5 Grandkids! :)

LOL. My daughter was 4 when I became a grandma for the 1st time. That was in 2004. I was 42
