In a round stone if you stick to a 60 depth, all other aspects being correct, the stone will have a larger spread than,say, a stone over 62 depth and can still fall within the excellent range..

Elongated shapes like pears, marquise, and ovals will all look bigger than the same carat weight stone of another shape, all else being equal.

Princesses and asschers look the smallest by comparison, so those are NOT good choices for someone looking to maximize size.
