Sunnyd suggested this in a thread since we have so many going now. Let''s put them all our ideas in one place! It can serve as inspiration for those planning now or in the future. So add yours now!
Here is my spring garden wedding inspiration board.
Not engaged yet either, but boy have I planned already!!! This is EXACTLY what I want. My idea is Tiff Blue with corals. Dreamy, dreamy, dreamy, soft and romantic is key. The idea is sort of a throwback to the 40's style because I love that era! I MUST have a lacy delicate gown. A hairstyle similar to this (think Allie on the boat in The Notebook) Also, the tux in the corner is what I wished I could get FF to wear. Think Bogart from Casablanca. The other guy at the bottom ( to the right of the flower girl) would be what I want the groomsmen to wear.
Never thought I'd share my ideas. But here it is........Dreamgirl's dream wedding!
(I hope FF doesn't see the dress on here.....
This is true. lol!
Oh how I wish I were engaged so I could get this beauty.
It is EXACTLY what I want. (<-----ETA ha! I think I already said this above)
Sunny- I actually have a whole collection of gowns similar to this in my (library) but none of them compare to this. I wonder how long this gown will be available for....
Oh! Thank you so much. I''m hoping to concentrate on shades of green and cream and white, and have touches of navy and light blue sprinkled throughout.
Ok great!!! Now I tried to stay away from this place...it didn''t happen
I have 2 inspiration boards...One for the ceremony one for the reception. I want them to have two different feels.
My ceremony one I''m still working on. I''m not happy with it yet. I''m picturing an evening candelite ceremony in this small chapel in beaver creek co in the winter time...I can''t find good pictures of what I have in my head...this is the best I can do...
sunny- It sure is an '09! My library has its own '09 folder (this is how I know)
I just don't know how long gowns stay available for.
ams- You must live in CO....
I am actually glad I have all these ideas BEFORE being engaged. Because then I can enjoy my engagment and actually have these ideas put into motion. There is still so much planning to do anyway once I am engaged, so it's not like I will be missing out on the ''engagment fun''......(I like to plan ahead anyhow)
Okay, so I'm with the "not engaged" crew... because I'm already married.
But my husband and I have discussed having a vow renewal in a few years, after he's returned from a year's study abroad for his doctorate degree. Sort of a welcome back celebration.
Pricescope still hates me for some reason, it won't let me post or attach pictures - it says I'm still not approved? So here's a link. Sorry for how big and ugly it is. Scheme is supposed to be white with splashes of color (like in the favors, food and lighting.) The location is the Natural History Museum in London Central Hall and Earth Galleries (which looks totally cool for a cocktail party. It's the picture with the lit-up statues.) Most of the decor shots came from David Tutera, who I just totally adore.
Also, sunnyd, the picture of the curly hair in your board... do you have a bigger version of it? I remember seeing it years ago and have been looking for it and unable to find it ever since!
