Numbers are great on that stone. If you've seen it in person and liked it, it's a very solid choice.

One question though:
Does your lady want 1.5 carats or is she a bigger is better girl? Because you can easily drop in clarity slightly (unless that is important to her) and get an eyeclean VS2 in H color and go larger like these stones:

Hey, thanks for the comment and the research!

When we looked together, she was happy with a 1.5ct. This being a 1.61, I thought I'd be overdelivering...

That diamond looks nice! The difference between 1.5 and 1.61 is so small, though, I'd opt for a larger stone like Gypsy posted if you are after the feeling of over-delivering. I doubt she'd kick a larger stone off her finger unless her lifestyle really prohibits it (like the medical field). Only you know the answer to that. I'd personally opt for the largest, best cut diamond within budget.
