PSA: JA's return policy now 30 days (previously was 60 days)

Just wanted to be sure everyone noticed that James Allen's return period has changed to 30 days - previously it was 60 days.

Not sure exactly when this change occurred (probably January 1, 2015?); I just noticed it today while I was browsing JA's website.

(Confession: I panicked more than a little when I saw it, as I bought a loose diamond in late November 2014 and in my mind had calculated I could still return for full refund by late January 2014... I pulled out my receipt though and it specifically sets forth a 60-day return period so I'm relieved I didn't unknowingly blow past my return deadline).

I didn't know they had a 60 day return policy in the past and I've bought 4, maybe 5 diamonds from them. That's a crazy policy. Amazed they even had it.

But 30 days is great too. I mean a full month to check out your diamond and decide if you want it, that's more than adequate.

I agree completely - I always thought the 60-day return policy was incredibly generous! And a 30-day return period in my opinion is still top of the line in the industry.

But, I was completely surprised by the return period change from 60-days to 30-days, and I do visit JA's site quite frequently. As I think many PSers bought last month with JA's great sale (and probably still fall under the old 60-day return policy), I thought I'd bring this up so recent purchasers can doublecheck their receipts to confirm their return period.

I bought an eternity band in that sale. Love, love, love it. May get a second.

I knew they had a 60 day. But I agree that 30 day is great.
