PSA: Give your studs a little tug before you put them on!

A friend’s pearl came off the stud mount. I checked all my pearls and I might have an MOP piece that’s a bit loose too, I can’t tell if it’s actually wiggly or me seeing things!

In any case. Give your pearls a quick tug before you put them on just to make sure they’re stuck tight!

Good advice Yssie. Several things to watch out for -
Never immerse your earrings in hot water . This applies to any earrings where glue is the source of attachment. High heat will cause the glue to release.


Check your pearls if they are dropped onto a hard surface as the shock can break or weaken the bond.
