PS LIW that became moms

I did a thread awhile back called "growing up on PS" or something like that. I was thinking, we have had SUCH a baby boom on PS that it would be fun to see actually how many. So I did a list.

Now, I know not everyone is on this list who has a kid. I just did this list to see how many people who actually started out as LIW on PS now is married and a mom. It's a lot.

So just for fun, here are the LIW turned PS moms (for the first time) and the year when it happened. I'm sure I forgot someone, so for grins and giggles, if you started out on PS as just a girlfriend and now are married and a mom (and I forgot ya), pipe up!

It's quite a testimony to Pricescope being a wonderful community to stick around and give/get support. There sure are a lot of us who are still here, eh?

That's both awesome and crazy. I guess it's conforting to go to people you've relied on for support for years instead of a new bunch of strangers!

ETA: Peony had her twins already. They were preemies (28 weeks), but last time she checked in they were doing well.

Oh count me in!! I was an LIW in 2006, married 07 and became a mom in 08. I see TGAL has put me on there, thanks for remembering!

I was a stressed out LIW back in '06 doing all the wrong things (constant 'talks' and meltdowns,haha) and I remember Mandarine being my twin back then, hehe! Then I moved to BIW and wedding, and then preggo thread. I did grow up here! I first came to the LIW threads for somewhere to vent so I didn't take it out on then BF and then ended up with a great group of mommy-friends!

PS Have any of you looked up your own old posts..eeech! But kind of funny too.

The TTC, Prego and Mom folks on here are just fantastic. The support, advice, lack of judgmental attitudes, etc, is amazing!

I love that I get to TTC with my LIW class.

I didn''t know peony had her twins? Or maybe I did...mommy brain. I''ll redo the list in another day or two to give it time to see if I missed anyone. If people want to add themselves to the list as they have their kids, it would just be for fun. But it''s a lot of LIWPS mommas for sure.

Yes, I agree it''s an amazing resource. From TTC to motherhood, you can find it all right here on PS. Oh, and of course all the lovely ladies are happy to help with PUSH PRESENT ideas.

Talk about a baby boom, PS is exploding. It''s been so fun to see so many of you plan your weddings, then see you go through your pregnancies, and then to see your little ones grow into toddlers!!!

Cool thread TG..!

It is fun to see how many PS'ers have moved through various stages of life here...while lurking sometimes I'd see people annoucing preggo and I would think 'WOW, I remember when she joined PS!'

I am a late bloomer, being one of the first LIW before there was even a forum, and finally took the procreation plunge. Crazy how life tries to pass you by when you are busy making plans.

It's wonderful to have all the 'been through that' Moms around to help since now I'm the newbie at this.
