I have recently registered as a member and I am already addicted to PS this site is fantastic! You are all super helpful and supportive to one another. I enjoy most seeing members' designs and great finds.

I Have been scratching my head about the abbreviations that many of you frequently use... Can you please educate me?

DH... Something husband?
DD
RHR
DSS (something like that)
AV cushion
GOG

There's probably a thread on this somewhere but in the interest of brevity i'll just decode for you.

DH- Dear Husband
DD- Dear Daughter
RHR- Right Hand Ring
DSS- The dreaded Diamond Shrinkage Syndrome
AV Cushion- August Vintage Cushion
GOG- Good Old Gold

I can answer some of these.
DH ( darling husband)
DD (darling daughter)
RHR - means "right hand ring"
GOG - Good Old Gold (a diamond vendor who advertises here on Pricescope)
DSS - something like diamond shrinkage syndrome (women on here who thought their diamond was pretty big until they saw the goodies on here, and suddenly it is starting to look smaller)

I was nodding when I read the DSS explanation - i just can't get the image of the 4ct ring out of my head!
