Hey ya''ll! I''ve been off here and out of the loop for quite a few months now (sorry...) but my husband and I made an offer on a house today at lunch and I thought of yall....how can i do that without some wishes from my Pricescope family? We''ve been looking for almost a year now and finally found one that works for us...of course we are hoping they accept our offer ASAP!

The dust worked! Plus, prayers from family, of course...

We signed the contract today and barring any major surprises with the home inspection, we''ll be closing March 7th.

Thank you everyone for the wishes! I may now be needing decorating advice when we get to that point....ahhh!

Sha--if only the yard was still that pretty...being as how it''s winter blah right now. But it will return!

ang3199--It''s not in the country (though I want to move back out to the country one day), it''s in an older, large subdivision. it''s actually become it''s own municipality. The lots average .5 acres, I would say. Gotta love living where the land prices are more reasonable than CA, NY, etc...

It looks like HOME! I love the A-frame window in the front and the circle drive. It''s very welcoming and has loads of curb appeal. Congratulations on the accepted offer. I''ll keep fingers and toes crossed that nothing unexpected comes up (unless it''s a bonus, of course).

Just wanted to stop back by and thank the rest of you that wished me congratulations! The home inspection went well-in fact, the sellers were there, which we thought would be awkward, but they were super nice. In fact, they showed us all the little quirks of the house, and are leaving extra paint, and she even said she''d leave little post-it notes all over the house when theyt move that say "kitchen tile has acrylic sealant..." and whatnot. How nice! So...countdown to the closing. Now the packing ensues!

Somehow I missed this but congrats on your new home! How exciting for you. Remember it always takes longer to pack than you think. Also it is amazing how LITTLE fits into a box. Good luck!
