This ring has double and single claws and to me, its a KILLER setting!![]()
I love claw prongs - so beautiful and delicate - but they have to be done well, or the stone is not safely secured and the ring ends up looking like $4!T

Do you mean double claw prongs (where there are 2 claw prongs joined together) as opposed to one prong that is split at the top?

There is no concern on the durability/integrity of that ring and how it'll protect the stone? For a 2ct stone I have people telling me to get that "bridge" to help steady the stone for that reason.

Not that I know of, the store didn't say anything. Why,would you be concerned if it was your ring? My diamond is only a 1.01. I will now be asking though.![]()

Yes I think so. My friend's ring has double claw prongs but no split thru the entire thing. My ring has a split with 2 prongs. What is the name of those two different styles?
