Any Project Runway fans out there? If so, what did you think of last night''s season premier???

I just adore this show...I hope I''m not the only PR obsessed PSer!

I don''t really know everyone contestant''s name yet, but I have to say that the winner of the challenge had a beautiful design!!

The girl with the dress that was "pooing fabric" should''ve been thrown to the wolves, in my opinion. It looked fantastic from the front but what a mess from the back! Plus she''s kinda wacky...

Though the girl who was thrown off couldn''t sew. Which, arguably, might be a skill that a CLOTHES DESIGNER might want to possess.

I LOVE this show too...I look forward to each new season. I thought the "pooing fabric" comment was hilarious - she certainly has a bizzare style to designing clothes.

That guy Christine is going to be one to watch - he''s quite a character. But, I must say I was NOT that impressed with what they came up with last night - only two designers stood out to me - Chris and Rami. I was really liking what those two had designed...

I'm addicted to this show...I only discovered it recently in re-runs. There are more PS fans...do a PS search for "Project Runway".

Don't you think it's because she's wacky that they kept her on? I understand that the show's producers get to "vote

Actually, I think they kept her on because the other girl was just soooo bad. Like Michael Kors said, it looked like she got dressed in the dark" - the dress and jacket didn''t "go" and it was TERRIBLY made - a true sign of a weak competitor for this competition....

At least the wacky girl had decent construction no matter HOW hideous it may have been!

I''ve watched PR since its premiere season. I think they''re really casting for "roles" more than talent now. Yes, the majority of them are talented, but what "normal" talented person lost out to "crazy poopy lady"?!?!

I love Project Runway, too! Sooo glad it''s finally on again!

Yeah, I thought they should have given poo lady the boot! She had some serious "taste level" issues. Yikes! The eliminated designer''s dress was pretty...not that well made, but at least it was an attractive design! And I didn''t think the jacket was that terrible with it. I would never choose that jacket to wear with that dress, but I''d choose that outfit, jacket and all, over the poo dress any day!

Oh absolutely. She'll be gone in a few weeks, when the novelty wears off (which, she's already grating on me a bit, to be quite honest). When I saw her kneeling on that silk (was it?) in the grass to "imbue it with nature", I knew we'd have to deal with her for at least a few episodes. Egads.

Yup, been watching it since the first season as well, and look forward to each new season almost as much as American Idol, my most guilty pleasure!

I agree, it was evident last night that they''re casting for "roles" more than talent, when Elysa (poopy dress crazy designer) won out over Simone (who really could not construct a garment to save her life but the color combo and concept showed burdgeoning talent anyway). I''m sure we will see some more silly designs from Elysa before she gets "out"ed, she certainly is rather annoying and I doubt she''ll hang on for too many more weeks.

Heidi Klum drives me just a wee bit insane. Maybe it''s me, or maybe she''s just a little tooo full of herself?

She is getting a bit snooty. Sometimes the editing looks like they try to make her look really intelligent. (not that she's dumb, but I think Michael has a bit more knowledge in that arena.)

PS-I love American Idol, too. I'm a die-hard. I only watch the three reality series: DWTS, PR, and AI. I hate survivor, the race show, bachelor and all those related.

Oh yeah... poopy crazy lady was crazy and the dress a lil poopy. Forced to decide to wear Simone's or Pooper's, I would resign myself to Simone's, though Pooper's wasn't too bad from the front- the sleeves were kinda nice (good thing she had sleeves otherwise that heavy pooped parachute would pull the whole dress off). The jacket over Simone's dress layed about as well as a towel around the neck... it looked (and was) completely unfinished.

Heidi to me seems so scripted she's kinda robotic-Stepfordish.

I agree! The sleeves were quite nice and it was alright from the front....I really think the thing that killed that dress for me (no, it''s not the poopy part) was the suede cowboy boots that she paired with it! I mean, I honestly think that could be a reason why the model tripped....not because of the poopiness, but because of the terribly stupid clunky shoes!

But I will say, I love suede boots, especially colored suede, so I WOULD wear those boots ANY day...but not not not with that dress....just FUGLY!

"spit marking" Really! WTF? Why would you spit on your clothes, or someone else''s for that matter. That''s so gross! She was infusing it with what?

Can you imagine this woman trying to walk down a sidewalk? She''d freakin stop at every piece of gum and try to salvage it! I can just see her petting telephone poles!

LOL somethingshiny, your comments are hilarious!

Thankfully I just noticed this thread again and realized I was missing PR tonight! I am watching the last 15 min. of the newest epi right now but have the 12:00 showing set to record. Phew! That was a close one!

OOoo OOooo! It''s on tonight! Don''t forget girls!!!

For PR fans from the beginning.... do any of you all miss Andre''???? He was so adorable, and I love the impression of Tim talking to him!!!

Andre! Oooooo I love him! The guy that does my hair looks just like him and we always laugh about how much we loved him on PR!!! I wish they''d bring him back for an episode instead of icky Santino!!!

I do have my favorites, and Santino is deff not one of them. As a designer he has an amazing vision, but I just wasn''t fond of his on-screen character most of the time. To be quite honest, quite a few of the winners deff haven''t been my favorites on the show.

I really wish they would bring Andre back. He was great!! Maybe they could just bring him back on with Santino... hahaha!!

I''m home today, and there''s a PR 1st season marathon... I really needed this!!! I completely forgot how the 1st season designers REALLY blow every other season out of the water!!! These peeps actually have great personalities AND design sense.

Anyone else have an opionion?
