I have been itching for something new but most high end jewelry has become price prohibitive and the quality seems to have declined. I am debating building a diamond necklace made up of 1/2 carat stones but I cant afford to buy more than 2 right now. I am envisioning a a diamond by the yard type necklace. My questions are both stone and design related. I want ideal cut stones but they dont need to be hearts and arrows. i actually dont care for H&A (too sharp looking for my taste and dont want to pay for the premium). 1)How should I search for Ideal cut performing stones eliminating H&A? Lastly --I would like D/E vs. I know that seems like overkill but I am very color sensitive. and 2) Should I bezel set one and just add one whenever I can afford it? Has anyone else done this?
