Professional opinion on GCAL 8x

Stumbled upon this forum and have limited knowledge on diamonds.

Have requested a D-E, VVS1-VVS2, 3-3.1c from jeweler and has come back with this;

Does it need to be a GCAL 8x? They tend to carry a pretty high premium.

Here are two HPHT options for under $4900 and under $5900 respectively. Both are D VVS and designated H&A on the reports.

At this point I like the GCAL 8x, sifting through a bunch with right proportions was a bit tedious and jeweler I want to work with recommended.

What is the setting you've picked out?

The diamond looks very nice, and the price seems in line with other vendors. I also like these GCAL 8x if either are an option for your jeweler.

Agree with Kim N - pricing is A-OK for the GCAL 8x premium and the CVD material quality looks quite nice as represented in GCAL's videos.
That will be an attention grabber, for sure!
