I have two pieces picked out for my processional music. Even though they''re both piano pieces, they will actually be played on the harp. I can''t decide which order they should go in. One will be used for when the wedding party goes down the aisle, and then the other for my processional. Any opinions on the order?

Hmmm, I can see why you''re having a tough time picking! One thing I would consider is do you have any favorite parts of the songs that you definitely want played? The song for the bridal party will likely play longer than the one for just you. I just tried listening to them in the two possible orders, and I think I like the Yiruma song for bridal party and the Love Actually song for you. Just my 2 cents. :)

I agree with Ladyciel, the Glasgow Love Song is much more emotional and I think would be better for your processional, and the other one, which is a bit lighter, for the wedding party. I love them both. I am having a pianist at my wedding and I think I am going to steal one of these to use!!

I think I''m leaning the same way as both of you. I love both pieces... I''m a little worried that either one is going to make me cry

I would totally cry to the Glasgow Love Song! But all your guests will also be crying, so they won''t notice.

I used Glasgow Love Theme as my processional and I absolutely loved it. Ever since I'd heard it on the "Love, Actually" soundtrack, I knew that was the song I would have at my wedding. For the recessional, I used PM's Love Theme from the same CD. I got a lot of compliments on how pretty and non-traditional they were, but still appropriate.

As for your selections, I'd use "River Flows In You" as the recessional - IMO, it's a little faster. I know it's not always necessary, but I think it would flow better.

Good luck and no matter what, both pieces are superb and you'll have a musically delicious ceremony!
