Hi all,
I wondered if anyone else has any experience of the problem I am having... I have a new shared prong eternity band in white gold set with 6 pointers, and one of the diamonds has fallen out after just 11 days of wearing it. I have been super careful because it is delicate, and have taken it off to wash my hands, etc. Is this problem a common one? I am now thinking perhaps I should get a different kind of setting.
To make it even more complicated and annoying, I bought it in the USA and I live in London, so am having to Fedex it to the jewellers at great expense and can''t go and talk to them in person. I have called and they were very helpful and apologetic, and will of course repair it for me, but I am worried in case this happens again as too upsetting and impractical to have to keep sending ring 3000 miles to be fixed!
Would love opinions and advice on this. I am so upset, as I have not even been married 2 weeks and have had to take my wedding ring off.
Thanks all,
Jessicat xx
