Private messaging option.

I realise that there may not be this option already for a good reason, but I wondered why there is no private messaging feature?

This is the only forum I have ever used where there is not the option to privately message members.

I think it is a good tool for people to communicate with. Some people may want specific information or be posting about topics that they may feel slightly uncomfortable with sharing on the public forum.

I know we don''t necessarily advocate people contacting/meeting other users, but there may be instances where this could be initiated via consenting people through this feature. It''s hard to form friendships where there is no way of exchanging email addresses, instant messenger details etc.
