I have to agree. I do love the princess. I do. My original e-ring was a princess and my band is princess. BUT, there is nothing like the sparkle of a round eternity or anniversary band. Nothing like it
yeah.. the rounds are sparklier, but I saw the PRETTIEST princess cut e-ring wedding band combo the other day.. Just GORGEOUS. I don't even know what it was about them, but I was DROOLING.. I can't remember the e-ring exactly I think it was a 3 stone all princess cuts.. And the band was I think 5 stone, fairly thick..Maybe it was just because it was so many good sized stones on one hand.. but I LOVED them..

Rounds definitely have more of a "sparkle factor", but princess cuts do rank up there as a close 2nd. It really comes down to personal preference. Good luck....
just how do they keep those buggers in there? The rounds, I mean. Princess have the flat sides, but are the rounds just tension set (obviously the channels hold top and bottom and end stones...).
I posted about a month ago on the princess vs. round in the channel. I ended up going with princess for 2 reasons: (1) she originally wanted a princess-cut diamond, which I thankfully talked her out of (her first wedding ring with husband #1 was a princess cut of very poor quality) but yet I wanted to somehow honor that first wish; (2) I liked how the princess cuts didn't leave any space in the channel so that it looked like a continuous line. Those are my two cents. Light was not a paramount consideration for me personally.
