A princess of princesses for my Princsess!

I've been scowering these forums more the past two weeks than I think any other website, and let me tell you, that is a LOT I have learned more than I ever thought imaginable about diamonds, this is such a great community. Thank you all for particpating in this resource so that all of us can benefit.

With that, I now have a question. I am looking at three princess cuts from GOG. I have been working with Sarah and I can't sing her praises enough.

Here are the stones in question followed by a link that compares all three (well, really 4) I asked the 2.16ct to be thrown in becuase it has stared in other videos and I wanted to have a "known" to compare the other 3 against. Here they are in order presented in the video. Please take a look at the ASET and other images, check out the video and see what catches your eye. Colorwise its easy to tell but im focusing more on optical characteristics at this time.

I think I have a winner in my eye which I know is most important, but I guess I'm looking for a last second gut check from a 3rd party before I make this decision.

Obviously they are all great diamonds. True top performers in the princess world and you will not go wrong with any of them.

If I was going by pics and ASET of the first three, the F SI1 would have been on top, but looking at the video, my eye was constantly drawn to the G.

That only holds if you are using the 2.16 I for comparison only. If you are considering that for purchase, it would definitely be my first choice for the combination of size and performance, unless you feel it is too large for your gf''s finger.

So my preferences were:

2.16 I
1.53 G
1.54 F
1.54 I (and this is still a killer stone!)

You summed it up best here. They are all amazing and the most important is what YOU decide is the best value for your dollar. However anyone lists them, the truth is that it is so close between them as to make it impossible to say that one of these is better than another. It is obvious which is your choice and it is gorgeous, so go with what you feel is best.

I love the large I colour or the F SI1 if eyeclean. But they are all beautiful and I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

Agreed! I was very surprised by that, my eyes did the same thing.



And yes, I''m avoiding the 2.16 becuase I''m worried the size will be too large. (i know that some would disagree that a diamond could ever be "too large"
