Hi all,
now that I''ve got my round brilliant set, I''m embarking on a princess cut search.

My budget isn''t all that great of around 1.5K for the lose stone alone. I''ve already got the studs, so it''s just a matter of finding the stone for the ring. It would be set in a simple diagonally set V-pronged solitaire.

Please help.... Ideally it would be white enough (J with Fluor or better) and would have a measurement of over 4.5mm and a clarity of eye-clean Si2 or better (I''m afraid I look for spots all the time, so I''m quite sensitive to clarity). Being set diagonally they would have to be as close to a square as they can.

Help me. I know next to nothing about princesses. TIA

Here you go, should get you off on the right foot

Hi Equator

Yssie posted a very helpful link to start you off, well worth checking it out. Would you like us to hunt around for some Princess that might suit you?

Thank you for the link. I had a quick read and the table helped somewhat. I''d rather you experts find one for me, pretty please. I''ve been looking for the past couple of days and found that it''s too daunting a task to accomplish without all the help I can get, Lorelei. Haha.

Here''s one.. I''m not an expert, but it has pretty good symmetry, VS2 and within your budget. Hope it helps!

yssie, I had a look at the 3 stones. The good old gold one is very nice, but it''s way over my budget. I also like the crisp lines of the 55. The bigger whiteflash looks like a bargain, however, I am worried that the facets are too small. I don''t know why, but I like being able the bigger facets in the middle (whatever you call that. haha).

I''d probably wait some more. I''m not in a real hurry, but have given up on looking for one myself. haha.

Pave Princess, I''d appreciate it if you could tell me how this would look like, since I couldn''t find the picture of the actual stone you suggested.
