I am resetting my princess into a solitaire setting and I am looking for a new band.

Does it matter if you mix a round band with a princess solitaire, or should I stick with matching and get a band with princess cuts?

Thanks for the input! :))

I think that round is fine--if they are small enough to not overshadow the princess, something like a thin pave band would look lovely.

I say if you like the look then that's all that matters. I know some people don't like mixing shapes but when I had my princess I liked the juxtaposition between the princess and the rounds.

Thank you both! I will have to go try on a few different styles see what I like-Pave is always beautiful!

I had a princess solitaire with a round band for a while, I now have a RB solitaire, but here is a picture of my previous set.

I think it looks neat when you mix shapes!

I also like the look of mixing shapes. I made my three stone ring with rounds paired with my princess stone.

Before that it was a solitaire and I have a 5 stone round band.

Wow, thank you your rings are so beautiful I guess it doesn't matter and they do match well. :D
