Hi,

Hoping anyone could give me opinions on this stone. I am considering buying this stone from Jan at Diamond Brokers of FL. She has told me it's beautiful & scored 3 VH's on Brilliancescope! Any opinions appreciated....

regardless, i hear dbof has nice princess cuts. (note, the brilliance scope 'range' for fancies is different than that for rounds. If you want ultimate light-performance, go round -ie: a round's VH2 is 'higher' than a princess(fancy's) VH2; but if you want a princess, sounds very nice.

Not poopin' on it, just didn't know if you knew of the difference.

Thanks for your reply. I actually have the entire AGA chart for princess cuts memorized, but thanks for looking up the info. for me. Actually, the only reason the stone is a 2B is b/c of the crown height. When Jan spoke to the cutter he told her the crown height was 8.1%, but when I got the Sarin report it said 7.4%??? (I guess the Sarin report would be better to go with?) Anyway, a do like the round diamonds, but the setting I have has 12 princess cut sidestones and to be honest the princess cut stone just looks better in the setting....
