I found a couple diamonds I like online but I am wondering about the size proportions. What is the threshold between length and width that makes a Princess Cut diamond too rectangular looking?

Example:
5.70x5.54x4.07 - the difference in length and width is .16, is that too much of a difference? would the diamond look to rectangular?

The above stone would not be rectangular at all.
It is very close in it's measurments making the ratio 1:1.02 which is great.

In order to get the ratio, you have to divide 5.7:5.54=1.028
as close as you get to a 1:1 ratio the better. The threshold of it being rectangular is around 1:1.25+.

hope this explains it.

I too think this is very square... but 73% depth does little to make me happy, 65% would
