Hi trion,

It looks great looking at the ASET. Jon picks outstanding Princess and this appears to be one of them!

Thanks. So does it get much better then this for 7K or should I pull the trigger?

Looks really great! Princess ASETs don''t get much better than that. If you want to bring the price down, you could loosen up the criteria for color and clarity (and still have a white, clean diamond). A 1ct F/SI1 for example would save you $1000. If the SI1 is eye-clean, it will look exactly the same as a VS clarity diamond.

This website is great. Wanted to tank everyone on here and the vendors/appraisers I found through here. Even though this site has made me spend 50% more than my original budget, money well spent. This is my first piece of jewelry I''ve every purchased with a value over $9.99.

Diamond is mine now :).

Purchased from GOG, getting appraised by AGA. The Appraisal fee''s a bit steep, but Chris is worth the Money. Great guy to work with.

Here''s another pic.

Thanks. Any suggestion for where to get a simple platinum setting for this? It''s 1.01 ct, would a 2mm, 2.5mm, or 3mm band look best proportion? I like the ones from James Allen so far. Would like to find local place Philadelphia but all the B&M places are charging $1,000 plus for what goes for about $600 online.

If you ask Jon the vendor, he has a lot more available in the way of settings that he has on his website, so tell him what you want and see what he can come up with. Plus that way if he sets the diamond, it is covered should anything happen to it whilst setting for damage ( rare but it can happen sometimes).

And this Princess is out of this world beautiful!!!

This is the setting I chose. It has v-prongs on it. What do you guys think? Made by Stuller. GOG is going to mount it.

So the diamond arrived last Thursday and is fully paid for. Looks really great. Can you guys look at the AGS report and see if there's anything I should be concerned about. I didn't notice the cloud in the lower left corner till I saw the real report.

I actually like the fact that the 2 clouds are where they are at. I can ID the diamond visually under magnification since there's no AGS inscription on this diamond.

I'll post pictures soon.

The clouds should not be a problem. The crystal are the grade setter for this stone and that only results in a VS2, so the clouds are even more insignificant.

The 2 clouds you mentioned I think are actually crystals.

Your correct I meant crystals. The cloud near the middle is almost impossible to see. AGA had to go under 50x magnification to see it, even then, took awhile to find.

Trion there is nothing to worry about at all with the diamond or the inclusions, I ran an eye over it for you and it is all in order!

Just took some pictures. Will post them tomorrow when I have the freedom to work on them without prying eyes. I noticed this diamond doesn''t have a AGS inscription on the diamond itself. Is that normal?

Not all are inscribed, it doesn''t mention it on the report so I assume this one isn''t. LOL at the prying eyes, I will wait patiently for pics!

Hey All,

So here are some pics of the final product. Diamond itself looks greats. I''m not 100% satisfied with the v-clamps though. There not perfectly uniform. Specifically, the top right one isn''t symmetrical to the others. Is this about the normal quality of the clamps setting that I can expect, or should I have GOG fix this? Opinions appreciated on if I should have GOG try to fix the setting.
