Hello everyone,
My boyfriend and I are looking at diamond engagement rings and contacted WF to discuss their cushion options. I spoke with a representative from WF today and he emailed me some stones - I really loved one of them but it was a couple of hundred dollars above my said price limit. When I was asking about whether or not these stones he sent me were included in the WF inventory (I had since started poking around on their site), he said a couple of them were but I was having trouble finding them because they were a different price. On the website, they were even a couple of hundred dollars above his original price. When I told him that I wouldn''t be able to consider this particular stone, he said he could even come down more - which would be over $500 less than what is posted on the website.
My question is this: I didn''t think there was a bartering nature to this type of purchase. How much should I be expecting dealers to move on said prices - if at all?
Thanks so much!
