Hi Everyone,

I''m new to this, so please excuse the ignorance. Can someone explain to me why there is such a noticable price difference between the following 2 stones? Stone 1 is $6100 and stone 2 is $6900. I debated for a while and ended up getting Stone 1. I just want to get the peace of mind that I made the right decision. Does it look like a good deal?

Thanks!

1) $6100

Ditto, where were the diamonds for sale? Many reasons why the prices can vary including the type of seller and other factors. Looks like you picked a nice diamond!

I like the diamond. The diamonds were actually from 2 separate vendors. The more expensive one being at Blue Nile and the cheaper one at Mondera. I had a hard time deciding if I wanted to go over 1 carat. But based on some other comments, it seems a nice cut between .9 and 1 carat is just as impressive as a 1 carat+ diamond that isn''t well cut. So I settled with getting less than 1 carat. It''s more within my budget.
