Why is it that when I look up round 2.0 carat H/VS2, GIA price ranges from 13k+ but under $13300, yet when I did search for 2.16, H/VS2/GIA/round, price jumps to $16300+, big difference from price/carat wt. from 2.0 carat price search multiply by 2.16 carat comes out to 14K+ lower range.

Why price jumps for 2.16 carat wt?

I think your comparing the bottom of the pricing barrel for the 2 carat. They as well get well into the 14,15 and even 16,000 mark. There is also a smaller number of diamonds to select from the 2.10 to 2.20 range. These few dealers seem a little more expensive. I just looked on a dealer network and came up with 195 diamonds from 2.00 to 2.20 being H VS2 with GIA reports.

You must also consider if it is a older GIA report, a 2000+ report, the cut of the diamond (not just table and depth), and fluorescenece.
