Again I’ve discovered two massive antique malls and so many things are pretty. I wish @stracci2000 and @YadaYadaYada were with me! I’m going post some cool pieces and maybe add to it as I find them.

1800s coral stick pin in 10k. $50 yay or nay?

I also like this locket it’s gold overlay and I’m not sure if that’s the same thing as filled or not? FF67F148-E04C-4FFD-A2E5-6BDD091E76BF.jpeg

Not everybody’s cup of tea but I thought this ribbon when was sort of cool.

Other pics are not loading on my slow connection so once I get to a faster one I will post those.

Isn't it fun to find a new shop? I walk into a place like that, and everyone better step aside....Stracci means business!!!! Hahaha

The carving on the stickpin could be better.
The locket is nice! Both pieces are probably 1870s-80s. Rolled gold (sometimes called overlay) is a pretty thick coating. I don't see any opals on that locket. This means that the person who labeled it might not be too sharp!

The ring! This ring is 1950s-60s.
That cross hatch texture is a dead giveaway. Maybe you can get them to knock off 25%.
I like it!

None of the items are anything I am totally considering buying (except for the link necklace I posted earlier which I did get haha) I didn’t know if the stickpin was a good price or not since it’s lower priced than some of the other similar items I have seen. I knew you would have a good eye. I like the locket a lot but they want $168 for it which is kind of high for me but I am kind of a snob about gold filled versus real gold even though it’s typical of the period. I really don’t know what is considered good or fair for filled or rolled . I am finally at a decent Wi-Fi connection so look at the replies because get ready for the mother load. The lady was super sweet about letting me play but I did snap pictures of some things in the case it because I did not want to take all of her time.

Ohhhhhhh, I love that aqua ring! Of course it is expensive because as my husband says I’m always attracted to the most expensive option

Really great antique jewels!
Yes, $168 for the locket is just way too much.
My pick is the dinner ring, but I like the two mourning rings, also. And I would demand they throw in the green ring box!

@stracci2000 is right about getting the ring box with the ring, I have a couple and love them. Although not in that awesome green color.

No I don’t think so I think the two rings are. Well actually I know the one ring is but the other dark ring looks mourning to me. My pictures came out weird the first time and I had to edit them. So at first when I posted the caption was incorrect.

I actually messaged you on IG @stracci2000 with a question; I hope you don't mind.

You know I didn't inspect closely bc I was mainly "playing" without an intent to get that one; I zoomed in on my photo and it doesn't look oec (but photo isn't perfectly crisp) but it may be transitional or mrb. If it's mrb I wonder if the stone was replaced. The others are small so I would have to loupe to tell.

The PS Antique & Vintage forum is a lot like the third grade - you have to invite everyone to your shopping party :). Seriously, great and interesting finds - thanks so much for sharing!
