Please forgive my lack of knowledge when it comes to trades and which countries use "unethical" mining practices...but what's wrong with importing Rubies from Burma? Are they doing something unethical? Why the ban? Not planning on buying any Rubies anytime soon, just curious.

Also how does this effect the supply and prices of Rubies, is Burma a large supplier?
