Here are a few more photos of my engagement ring. The stone is a triple excellent 3.26 carat J VS2 RB on a size 4.75. The design is similar to the original Preciosa, but the sides of the basket are slightly more curved and have two sides lined with micropave. It was made by Steven Kirsch.

Any advice on what wedding band would look best with this ring? I like the idea of a chunky eternity band of round diamonds (although that may detract from the center stone?) vs two matching micropave bands that would sit on either side. Any advice?

Your ring is STUNNING!!!! I love Love Love Love the setting...and the size of your diamond....well, oh my !!!! It is good to be diamond dizzy!!! I am just crazy for pave' under and around the basket, up the prongs, so your setting is just heaven for me! I love a setting with a "surprise" underneath!!! Wear it in good health and much love!!!

I personally love your idea of a chunky diamond eternity band! Your main stone is large enough that NOTHING will distract! LOL And, in the event that you ever want to just wear your wedding ring (i.e., when I travel, I sometimes leave my eRing in the safe whilst on a tour as you just don't want to be too flashy), you still have a beautiful wedding band that doesn't leave you feeling bling-naked. For me, I even have a wider, flanged Tiffany band for when I do physical activity (ocean activities esp) as I don't want salt water deep in the crevices of my diamonds and diamond bands.
