Prayers Needed Again

A while ago, I posted about my cousin Stewart. He is in need of prayers right now. There are a lot of personal issues going on with him, and I don''t know what to do besides pray. All of your prayers would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks everyone. I talked to him a little bit ago. He told me that Nov 7th will be a year since his brother Gary died. It doesn''t seem like it''s been a year already. I''m really worried for Stewart....more than I ever have been before. But he did make me some promises, which I guess is a good thing. I have a feeling it''s going to be a long holiday season.

As far as what to pray for....just ask God to give Stewart the strength that he needs. I really don''t want to get into specifics at this time. I''m sorry, but hope you''ll understand.

8 years 8 hours and 51 min ago I went to my Dad's house and found him passed away and it still hurts a lot on the day.

Thank you everyone for the prayers. Stewart still needs them.

I talked to him yesterday for an hour (it didn''t seem that long) and he''s still having a rough time. He says that it helps to talk to me, so I''ll call him every few days just to see how he''s doing. He promised me he''d go to church today. It would be the first time in 42 years. I told him I''d call this afternoon to see how it went. There are some other things I need to tell him about. In one way, he feels guilty about his brother Gary''s death. He feels like maybe he could have prevented it. I''ve told him it was an accident, but he wasn''t convinced. After talking to my mother yesterday, she told me that Gary had Chili cooking on the stove and how hard of a time she had cleaning it up since it was all burnt up. So, I need to give him that little bit of information, and hopefully that will help ease his guilt.

Please continue praying for him. And thanks again.

Today is a year since Gary died. I tried calling Stewart, but didn''t get a hold of him. My mother talked to Stewart yesterday and convinced him that Gary did have an accident and that he couldn''t have prevented it. Stewart also had a NASTY divorce that was final a few weeks ago. It was drawn out for over 3 years. His mother is not doing very good. She''s in a nursing home in KY with alzheimers. Mom said she''s not eating and is awful thin, so we don''t expect her to live much longer. Please continue to keep Stewart in your prayers.

I''m so sorry to hear that Stewart has had to face so many tragedies and sorrows. With so much going on in his life, I hope he''s getting therapy.....No one person can be expected to handle all of those problems without some trained outside professional help.
