Posting Stone Details Without Identifying It?

I didn't know what to put for the title, but I had a question about sharing details of a stone. I realize when finding a good stone there are lurkers watching these threads, is there any way to share the details of a stone without someone else finding it?

My time to start looking is gradually approaching, so I wanted to see if this is a possibility so I can share my options.
