Hello,

Looking for some help after picking up my fiance's ring today. I recently purchased a princess cut ring from Tiffany's about two weeks ago but just need it re-sized. I believe it was originally a 6, up to 7.5. Now, having looked at it thoroughly (though I'm pretty sure I would've noticed in the store) the setting looks like slightly crooked. Is it possible this happened when they re-sized it? I've added a photo, (not a very good one but hopefully everyone can see what I'm talking about).

I called Tiffany&Co. and they said to just bring it in, but I was just looking to see what everyones thoughts are. Is this possible to fix, and if so, is it an easy job? I spent quite a bit of money on this ring and I would like it to be perfect. I'm probably being nitpicky, but it's really bothering me. I've got the ring laying on a flat surface and it the setting doesn't sit flush, if you focus in on the bottom left hand corner.

Please let me know what you guys think.

Just going by the one pic it does look slightly off kilter to me.

Oh, it is DEFINITELY crooked. That doesn't really seem like something that would result from re-sizing but if you're sure it wasn't like that when you purchased it, then it must have happened when you took it in for sizing. Either way, I could not deal with that! Have them fix it ASAP!

Hi and welcome!

You are not being nitpicky! You paid a lot of money and you have every right to expect a perfect ring. Tiffany should make it right. I'm not sure if it's an easy job or not, but if they have to get you a new setting, then that's what they should do. Lots of luck!

That is very crooked, have them fix it right away!

Deffffffinately crooked! And you're not being nitpicky! There is no such thing at PS. We are a group of perfectionists! Especially if you paid a certain amount of money for a ring and its not up to par!

That would bug the hell out of me. Definitely take it back and have them fix it.
