I preface this by shamefully stating that Poppy has not had a bath in days. DAYS. And these were taken on my iphone, so not the best photography either. Still. :love:

I've never tried taking fire photos before. It was rather fun, but frustrating - I could never capture any of the red I was seeing.

Ginger this thread should come with a warning: Potential viewers may be blinded by the enormous amount of fire shooting from the gigantic diamond :sun: Put on those sunglasses 8-) And I would like to add: Holy Freaking Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
 
I didn't actually edit these in any way, so it's interesting to see how my skin color varies in some of them. The yellow/reddish shots seem to show my skin as a bit Oompa Loompa-ish. :confused:

Thanks ame and woofmama - I had to endure some ribbing from DH ("MORE diamond photos?!"), but it was worth it. :bigsmile:

I was sitting in the car, waiting for DH to pick up my takeout Indian birthday dinner. The sun was about 2 hours from setting, and sort of coming from behind my right shoulder. It made a patch of sunlight on my leg where my hand had been sitting. Poppy throws a lot of fire normally, but I think it is most broad and intense at an angle, as the sun is going down.

I am a Capricorn to the nth degree. It's funny because my brother's birthday is only 5 days later, but we're like chalk and cheese as it pushes him into Aquarius territory. I'm not sure I know anyone who embodies the stereotype of their star sign as much as I do. The diamonds part must fall under our tendency to focus on finances and matters of wealth. :wink2:

Be careful, you'll easily become addicted to trying to capture every color under the sun. Totally off topic, but what a great expression!

Anyway, my theory is that you've been spending way too much time with the kittays and this was Poppy's way of reminding you of all that she has ;)) And she's really got all that!
