I'm trying to decide which design to go with. The main stones will be 5.7mm oec's. My goal with both designs is to minimize the fact that my ear piercings are uneven (d*mn pediatrician!) and that I don't wear my studs b/c they are noticeably uneven in my ears. I love both of these designs and can't decide between the two. I guess the other thing to consider is that I have shoulder length hair that I wear down almost all of the time, so I don't want the earrings to get lost in my hair.

OK, vote away!

I had my eye on the 1st design for a long time :Up_to_something:

Yenny, they are both beautiful but the 2nd setting looks more antique which I think would flatter your OEC's. However, the one design alteration I would make would be to allow the OEC to articulate from the attachment because I love the movement of earrings. The 2nd design as you have it now looks fixed and I think allowing the attachment to swing would be a lovely addition. With that my vote would be for the 2nd setting though the first one is beautiful as well.

I love them both Yenny! I have had my eye on the JBEG ones too, but the second pair is so beautiful too! I think the answer is both!!!

After reading your post again, I say go with the second pair. Better for uneven piercings and will show up better on your ear with your dark hair. I love that they are fixed and dont move, but that is just me!

That's a great idea Missy! I agree with you completely that allowing the oec's to swing would be a great design change if that's the way I go!

luv, both is not a choice, lol! You are not helping me here!

I know, sorrry Yenny. I edited!

They ARE Both stunning - that is a hard choice! I voted #2 - partly because I think they would be more comfortable with that back and because I think there is more sparkle to be observed behind hair.

I don't think I could decided between #2 being articulated (lots of nice movement - ? could my hair get caught in that?) vs non-articulated - fixed and flashy as is. :loopy:

Both designs are beautiful - good luck!!

I was just teasing luv...I know it's a tough choice, which is why I can't decide! Thanks for making a choice though!

Enerchi, I guess if I go with #2, that will be something to discuss with the jeweler, since I wouldn't want them getting tangled in my hair!

I have uneven ears too and I think the second ones would work better for that. I agree if they could get the drops that would be great. Both pairs are very pretty.

Hi Yenny, I wanted to add that I find posts very uncomfortable vs anything else (ie sheperds hook, leverback) and that would also sway my vote. I am in the process of figuring out which of my post earrings I want to convert to leverback or sheperds hook in fact because I never wear my post earrings! I also want to say that many of my earrings articulate and they never get caught in my (a bit past) shoulder length hair. So hope that helps your decision!

totally agree! I feel the 2nd goes very well with yoru Ering style and the first has a stub on top which may still accentuate the uneven-ness of your piercings.

Thanks Marcy, Missy and Amy. Do you think that the beauty of the oec's will be lost in the 2nd setting? That's my concern. If my dang piercings weren't so uneven, I'd totally go with bezeled studs to let the gorgeous oec's shine....

I chose option 2. They both are gorgeous and will go with your current jewelry. The second pair eliminates the dangle, caught in your hair issue. My personal preference is that earring design because of the post as well. I think they will be more comfortable to wear. Just my opinion ;))

I like option #2 with Missy's suggestion. :appl:

If these are every day earring I think that #1 is a better choice.

Yes, whatever I do will be everyday earrings....
