Hello my beloved PSers... This is going to be a long term project but I would like you guys help me heading toward one direction instead of two.
I've always liked halo setting but my FI didn't when I showed him the pic. so I went with my current setting. However I couldn't get halo setting out of my head, so one day I dragged him into a store and showed him what it looks like on my finger. He likes it now and said they look a bit different on the pic. than IRL.
However, there are two types of halo setting (one row pave and split shank) which I both love but just can not decide which one to go with. (He likes the one row pave better)
Here are the pics. of the settings that I love (I hope you girls don't mind I borrow the pic.)
Please help me decide!!!! :blackeye:

Split Shank

I generally prefer one row over a split shank. Both are very pretty though; you can't really go wrong! I just think the one row is more classic/traditional.

Either! Both can be beautiful if executed well, monstrous if executed poorly, and I don't think one type is more classy or anything than the other - they're both in my same mental "file".

I do like the split shanks with deep, early inflection points, like Charmy's, vs. more gradual splits, or straight splits. But that's just my personal preference!

Thank you for all the inputs~ I would hope for some more vote as well since it's fairly close atm =)

agreed! I lke charmy's setting ALOT :)

I like the single band and Charmy's version for an engagement ring. A wider split shank I like better for a stand-alone ring or RHR.

Both are beautiful but I prefer the single shank a tad more. I'm with DS though - I like the split-shank if its for a RHR.

from the vote it seems that the one row pave is the winner =)

haha... no problem.. I think I will go with the single row pave since that's what my FI likes better too =)

I voted for the single row too, but I think you can't go wrong with either.

My vote is for the single row pave.

Yum yum!

The split shank with pave looks to busy, my vote goes to the single row!
