If I were to choose this one, I wouldn't change a thing. The curved lines with milgraining and diamonds that hold the centerstone are fluidly graceful...and the setting is just amazing the way it is now.

The bezel and halo have the same shoulders. Depends on what you want, but I've been admiring those settings too and would get those shoulders with 6 prongs.

Oh dear. Yes, it's true, I'm bagging the OEC. The short story is that my DH is usually not very involved in things like this, but in this case, he chose to be. While we both liked the settings from SS and other places as well, we didn't see any of them being our dream ring even if the stone itself is an absolute dream . Then, a couple of weeks ago, we were looking at all kinds of websites: SS, VC, LM, JBEG and ERD more for settings than anything else. He saw a diamond he loved as well as a setting he loved and said this is my dream ring for you and I loved the combination immediately, but hesitated to make any "rash" decisions. After a week of us talking about it on a very consistent basis, we decided this would be the way we would go. I have to say that we've been married for 28 years and I have tremendous respect for him so when he decided that he was involved; I was thrilled! I don't want to say much about what we're looking at this time, but it will be gorgeous, to us, if everything works out (meaning my OEC sells before the ring) ha ha.

I love the first one and the halo. I don't know if you want to make your stone look bigger, the halo is great but the leaf one is so unique and so pretty from all angles. Congrats on narrowing it down to 3~ I am still debating which type!!!!!!!!!!!
