I hope to get my stone sent off to Single Stone in the next week to get her set. I'm down to these 3 settings and having a really difficult time choosing. I'd like to know which of these three you would choose please. A note about the 2nd setting: I have asked Single Stone for a delicate, double-milgrain bezel rather than prongs. Thanks in advance for your help!

7.94x7.83x4.75 Doesn't need a halo IMO. As much as I ADORE the shoulders of that halo. Can they do the halo just as a thin bezel? I think that would be my choice.

Do you have a side shot of the 6 prong?

We have similar tastes...I JUST ordered the second setting for my OEC with a delicate single milgrain bezel. I had SS send me the third setting with a single milgrain bezel instead of a halo, and it was absolutely beautiful in person! In real life, their detail work is so fine and the settings are much more delicate than they look in enlarged photographs. I don't know what "look" you want but on the 3rd setting, for a larger stone, the ratio of the width of the graduated shank where it meets the bezel vs the diameter of the bezel is fairly small so the stone is the focus and "pops". Ari said that the width could be increased if you want to have the shank detailing more visible and prominent. Can't wait to see what you order!

Yes, they can. I would ask for double-milgrain, I think.
eta: Thank you for this idea, Gypsy, I hadn't really thought about this, but love the shoulders on this one as well!

MrsM, this is a huge compliment coming from you since I love your rings. Thank you for your input because I may like the proportions of the shoulders a little wider. For the third setting is the "halo" underneath still included or no when there is no top halo? And, do you have pics??

Ohhh tough decision! They are all gorgeous  I would say my first choice would be #3 (with halo or bezel-both are gorgeous). The leafy 6 prong is a veeeery close second, I love the side view.

I am so excited to see what you choose and how the finished ring looks! :D

I love how you directed us to pick one setting in the poll.

One of each might be more the PS way. ;)

Thank you, Armywife! I love the profile of the 6-prong.

You read my mind!! I was just thinking the same thing!

I voted for the halo - but without the halo! I like the idea of the bezel and I agree with Gypsy that the stone doesn't require anything beyond the beauty of that setting.

Tough call because they all look perfect! Good luck... how are YOU going to pick just one?? ;) :wink2:

Thank you Enerchi! And, I honestly don't know. ;)

Here are some poor photos I took of the ring. Hope this helps. I really like the idea of a double millgrained bezel--why didn't I think of that!!

Perfection! Those photos are gorgeous! Yes yes yes to this setting, IMO. Gorgeous ring MrsM!

Okay that just confirms my choice and honestly I LOVE LOVE LOVE double milgrain bezel rings and think that would just be the cherry on top!

I can't wait to see this ring, no matter what you chose though.

Thank you for the pictures, MrsM! Wow.Just.Wow. I'm loving this without the halo on top.

Enerchi and Gypsy, I'm right there with you. Just emailed Heather so we'll see if everything works. ;)

Ditto!

I voted for setting #2 but with a bezel instead of the prongs. All of the settings are beautiful, but the profile of this one just speaks to me!

I like what Gypsy said, I think it would look perfect!

The last one, without the halo! So pretty!

Very excited to hear what Heather's reply will be.... that is a beautiful setting for your stone. Good luck and do report back

I also like the third one with the milgrain bezel! I love Singlestone's rings!

Thank you Enerchi and DS! Not only are their rings gorgeous, but their customer service is amazing as well.

I vote for #3 with no halo and double milligrain bezel. GORGEOUS

Now we just have to wait for the confirmation...and then the pictures!!!!!!!!!!!! :appl: :appl: :appl:

Okay, I have one more I'd like to add that wasn't included in my poll. But I love the look of this one and asked about a double-millgrain bezel on this one as well. Can you tell I'm *obsessed* with the double-millgrain bezel? What do you all think?

I am not so sure how this one would work as a bezel but it's beautiful!

Yeah, I had the same thought - to me, the appeal of this setting is how the sides turn into the prongs (very badly expressed, hope you get what I mean) and I'm thinking a bezel would sort of chop off part of the ring - again, badly expressed! It's gorgeous, and I love it as is.

Thank you Bright Ice and Junebug. Yeah, I've been thinking about that too which is part of the reason I asked for others' thoughts on it as well.
