I love the symmetry of the second pic, where the band seems to be the same width as the band on the e-ring. I would be for any band that is the same width. After staring at e-rings and erings with bands for the past year and a half, I have discovered this is most pleasing to my eyes.

To my eyes, the second option gives a more balanced and eye pleasing look. It complements your beautiful e-ring instead of overwhelming it.

Although I voted for the second thinner band, I think both the hick #1 and thin #2 can work in terms of proportion. In fact, I like the extra bling provided by the thicker band.

You might get more action if you hit report concern in the right hand corner and ask to move this to Rocky Talk. SMTB is usually for finished pieces. If you are looking for opinoins on what you are making then RT gets way more action!

Wow a lot of votes for the thinner band! I LOVE Mysop04's combo - she wears an bezel set circle band with milligrain.
So I guess def not flush fit.

I voted thinner BUT I do love a contrasting band and shape IF it the halo ring has a plain shank. Your design has a lot going on in terms of diamonds, so I would go with matching. I think any of the other choices would make it look super busy and take away from your stone.

bump! I am picking up my ring soon. Any suggestions? I can sell that thicker band, for metal and diamonds only, or keep it. It cost beacou bucks. I might keep it. Not sure.......! Vote!

Thanks! WOW everybody pretty much chose thinner band. I have a week before I pick it up and need to decide by then if I am selling this one.....It is such a pretty set -maybe I should keep it "just in case" AND also for any other future stone.

I am not sure how much they will offer though. I do have other gold and diamond rings so we will see.

I am surprised nobody voted for a Flush Fit band.....I wonder why???

^ Flush fit bands are nice, nothing against them! For me personally, I just like a little gap between the bands, gives the look of 2 separate rings. Looking forward to seeing your new ring!

I think u r right - it shows the shape of the ring.......i looked at a few pics onlilne today and the flush band sort of makes the ering disproportionate.....ie: one side is longer looking...

Another vote for the thinner band! Although I love my bezel band with my ring, I think your split shank ring would look best with the thinner band in the second photo. Can't wait to see what you decide!
