Pls help w/friend's wedding band! Budget & Shape Challenges!

Hi wonderful PSers!
My friend is shopping for her wedding band and is coming across some challenges. The store she bought her e-ring from doesn't have a matching band. She's not sure what style would suit her e-ring AND her budget. She tried on some pave bands tonight but that style doesn't go with her e-ring and she felt it took away from her e-ring.

Her budget is 1000 and she'd like to have the band sit flush. I'm thinking she'll need custom setting and maybe a plain white gold band is best?

Thoughts? I haven't gone band shopping myself yet so I'm not as familiar with this phase of engagement, lol.

This is a pave style she tried on and didn't like because she felt it took away from her e-ring.

the ring is beautiful. I second a plain white gold band. I'd get a really dainty one.

I think she'll have a hard time finsing something that's flush fit without going custom...

Anyone else have suggestions or confirmation that custom band with plain white gold is probably the way to go?

What about like a nice twist band? It won't fit exactly flush, but the slight twist in the band will be more forgiving with the gaps.

Eta. A rolling ring does that too. Even better actually. And the thinnest Cartier one is under 1k

I like the idea of a rolling ring! Niel, is yours the thinnest one? My friend would need one super delicate because her setting is so fine and thin. Is the $1K for new or used Cartier? I can't wait to tell her about this idea.

You know I dont think mine is the think mine is the thinnest. Logansapphire has a really thin lovely one. Its not on there website, but I think they have it in store still. I remember enerchi doing a thread about them I think new they were 750. But don't quote me. Also with some luck they aren't that hard to find on eBay.

Hers is like 4th down.

You could get the milgrain removed if it doesn't match the engagement ring.
