Jordan,
Did Whiteflash reply to your question?
Did you take a decision?

Ditto, any news??

Hey folks,

Well, something I didn''t mention earlier on this thread is that I''m in the (slow) process of moving for employment reasons, and also starting up school again part-time. There are just so many related expenses that, although eventually reimbursed by my employer, seem to be taking awhile to work their way through HR.

Last night, while thinking about this exquisite stone, I just got so nervous; I''ve heard about fellow attorneys who have gotten in trouble with the bar for accidentally kiting checks! And I wouldn''t want future Ms. Jordan getting too suspicious about what I''m up to... So, I told Bob Hoskins over at WF that he should put the stone back on the market.

Bob is a terrific guy and offered to hold the stone for me while I waited for the dust to settle, but I feel that if someone else is able to pay up in full before I can, then they deserve it. Maybe I just like a bit of suspense.

Also, I have to say that I''m still not 110% sold on the diamond! Bob assured me that it''s totally eye-clean. In response to Stephan''s question about why it didn''t make ACA, he said it was a matter of being just short of their "hearts" requirement for the pavilion.

Bob also directed my attention to this stone, which looks beautiful to me:

What do you guys think as between the 2.02-ct, this new one, and the GOGs? This time, I''m going to move at a slower pace in making my final decision. My target actually isn''t till June, after all...

Sorry for the anticlimax. I repent, but I promise to post pics when I finally do settle on something!

Hi Jordan!

June? I wouldn''t wait to long: the ring has to be made and the stone musst be set.
If Bob told you that the 2.02ct is eye clean, then it is. You can trust Whiteflash.
I was wrong by thinking the heart pattern was right, but even if it isn''t, the diamond is ideal (proportions, ASET/IdealScope pictures). The price is good too, because even if it''s above 2ct, you don''t pay for the ACA brand but still get a perfect diamond. If size matters, I would buy this one.

If size doesn''t matter, I would buy the GOG diamond I''ve linked (5635).
It''s cheaper than the ACA, and it still is a top quality diamond.
I suggest you to request a video where Jonathan compares the two diamonds you''ve linked to and the one I did: you could compare size and performances.

Good luck!

Ditto, also diamonds of that size and quality aren''t plentiful. I wouldn''t think it is too early as it can be difficult finding the right diamond of this size as they are in short supply anyway, plus as Stephan says getting the ring together can take a little time, so best to not leave it too long.
