Image is not that good. Can you retake?

Try placing the camera on the table, lens pointing up, put a clear sheet of plastic/glass on top and place the diamond table down on the sheet then snap away? :P

hi stone cold tks for the reply! This is the photo taken as per your instruction:) is it better now? sorry I really have problem taking proper photos... tks for your advise!

Hi there anyone out there? Can you help with these IS images pls?

Looks good Chico, well done!

Thanks Lorelei thanks! However,I can see a few like 5 little white V shapes at the girdle. should I be concern??is that light leakage? I do not see white inside the table though. It is Heart and Arrow according to the seller, is it true? I can see 8 sharp arrow but I can''t see the bottom as it already mounted.

The leakage I see is normal contrast leakage and nothing to worry about.
Looks excellent.
You can not determine if a diamond is H&A from a face up view.
I am not seeing anything that rules it out from being h&a.
That is the best that I can say from a face up view.

Sorry, went to bed.:P

Ya, looks good, no way to see the hearts image once the stone is mounted.

Thanks for the input:) Thanks stone cold for your advise on taking the IS photo. So can I confirm on this purchase?Or should I shop arund more?

Go for a test drive yet?

So far it looks good to me, now it is up to you. Does it look good to you in everyday life? Does it sing to you?

Yes it does!! :)

Then go for it. :)

Hi there do you think that US$2950 is a reasonable price for this 0.72 carat weight E VS1?

If that includes the setting, than it seems to me a super steal! :D But, if that is the diamond alone... that is still an excellent price i believe!

I checked out similar specs, with a top notch cut (which i think yours may be from the nice IS image).. and they were around 3300+

yap, price looks good to me too. :)

Hi there this is the specs of the stone. I had posted it for advise before. Stone-cold and Lorelei suggested to take a look at the Ideal scope image before confirming on the performance. It has medium fluorescence too. So base on the IS image, specs and price of USD 2950 (including a simple 18k white gold solitaire setting). Is it stiil a good, worthy buy?

Basically, a well cut stone should not becomes that dark/black when you view the stone closely. Idealscope is set to imitate obstruction when you are looking at the stone from about 10in away, about an arm''s length. So if you don''t see the darkening with the ring about 1 arm''s length away, the stone should have no obstruction issue.

More reading here.http://diamonds.pricescope.com/ideal.asp

Hope that explains it.

Stone,

According to the video, to see if a diamond has obstruction issue, should we also use a black cd cover to cover the light and to see if the diamond becomes black, if it is black then the stone has obstruction issue.

Am I right?

The stone has minor obstruction issues.
Your good to go.
If it was a serious issue it would show up in this picture.
I will explain more when I wake up but wanted to post tonight so I can find this thread in the morning.
