I have only seen the video, Martin has seen the video and has talked to the dealer repeatedly about the stone and both say it's stunning.

I have another for consideration as well

What's the driving motivation behind these two stones? Price? Carat weight? Spread? You prefer 60/60 cut?

Obviously big tables and shallow crowns are going to give you slightly more spread than a smaller table and steeper crown (assuming depth and pavilion proportionally adjusts as well).

Before I committed to spending $20k+ on any stone I'd make damn sure it is a style I like. And I'm not disputing Martin or the supplier concerning the beauty but I have yet to meet a salesman that doesn't have the perfect product in stock.

That said here is how the proportions line up. Probably an excellent cut. Small possibility it slips into ideal territory if the faceting is precise.

You are getting a false AGA Cut Class grade because you have used pavilion angle for pavilion depth percentage. No way is this a 4B, but you must carefully enter correct numbers for percentages, not angles.

Yeah, that form is a pain sometimes. Would be awesome to enter a cert number and have it auto pull the data so user error is eliminated.

What about this one?

3.02 J SI1 @ $26,304

55 table, 61.7 depth, 34.5 crown and 40.8 pavilion

Dreamy proportions. Seems to be a local NYC dealer so I cant pull the cert, etc. Being an SI1 I'd want to verify eye clean.

Looking at this on my laptop I was able to find the certificate. Very doubtful this is eye clean. Still might be worth an ask just to confirm. But the cert looks rather nasty.
