I was watching a stunning antique platinum french cut diamond band on ebay and REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to bid but alas 1500.00 worth of immigration fee's hitting this week didn't allow any bling budget-even for a once in a lifetime steal. This is now #2 will always dream about since I feel it was basically STOLEN for the price it went for.

It sold for 355.00. Yup. I know.

Please tell me someone here got it.

VL, I know what you mean. I have a few of those, too - biggest being the gorgeous old cut five carat crescent brooch that went for $500 or so. I was getting my earrings and didn't want to divert funds ... What an idiot! I could always have upgraded, and I doubt I'll see a deal like that again.

OP the ring is lovely! I wish I had seen it when it was active!

I saw a trio of diamonds, perfect for a 3 stone. Center was like 2.5 cts, and the side stones were over 1 ct each. Went for 6k. I died a little.

I had thought of posting the link but thought if a PSer was watching it I didn't want to drive the price up for them.

Circe-it's not #1 but it was just the FIRST one to get away. I had pllanned on getting it-had my dad set up an alarm on his phone to bid on it for me since I'm in Canada and his phone didn't go off. It was a rose cut diamond 5 stone WG band that went for 150.00.

Did the brooch happen to be YG? Do you have a photo of it? Man that was a steal!

Oh, well. I comfort myself with the fact that I probably wouldn't have worn the brooch much, and I wear the earrings 3 days out of every week.

Gosh, that was a pretty little ring! VL, I agree with not posting things on here out of respect for those who might be planning to bid. It takes time and effort to find the treasures, and whoever got this one was very fortunate!
