It really does and in a super elegant way. I appreciate a gorgeous halo. I’ve always been in the firmly solitaire camp but I’m more and more seeing the allure of a beautifully executed halo.

First of all THUD!!! I am completely in love with all your gorgeous pieces @Acinom You have exquisite taste.

As for your question my answer is I have absolutely no clue. From one moment to the next I am changing my mind. So for now I am holding steady. My fervent hope is that my go to vendor finds me a genuine antique setting and I fall in love with it for Bubbalah. But it never hurts to get ideas in the meantime and there is no place better for that than PS. And I am enjoying these gorgeous rings and hope everyone else reading is too.

I don't remember the specs as this is in my safe and the GIA reports are at my safe deposit box. I don't wear this ring much as I've fallen in love with my eternity ring made by CVB. This ring is pre PriceScope and would have not been made had I known about this forum! She's very sparkly and substantial.

Looks so much larger than 2 carats @Queenie60. I hear you on rings made Pre PS but I have to say this ring holds its own. She sure does look very sparkly and substantial.

I haven't named it, Edwardian sapphire and diamond flower halo. My ring size is UK O so I think that's a US 7.5
Platinum with approx 1.7 carat sapphire (may be less, I remember having different figures from original vendor and valuation). Approx 1 carat in diamonds. Milgrain bezel setting (?) and scrollwork underneath with a pretty flower design under gallery too.
Measurements (taken with a ruler, don't have anything more high -tech!) are 13mm x 12mm including the halo and an 8mm x 6mm sapphire

@missy, since you know you're a solitaire girl at heart, have you considered having a very delicate "wrap" of sorts made, so that you can be soli some days and halo on others??

Here's mine! 3.14 ct cushion (I color) in hand-forged halo setting by BE. My finger/knuckle size grew over the last few months from 3.5 to 4.25, despite no weight gain. (Weather has been cool so it's not heat puffing. Gotta love aging!)

I enjoy this ring but sometimes grow tired of the halo. I've been toying with the idea of taking it out of the halo and putting it in a milgrained bezel, with my pear side stones also in bezels (.5ct each). Or, I might just make it a simple 3-stone without bezels, in yellow gold maybe.
